Henry T. Crosby & Son began on the corner of Island Pond Road and Main Street, Harwich Centre in 1872. Crosby took over a once thriving saddle shop with a blacksmith shop nearby for the sharpening of tools. This began a tradition of handcrafted excellence; a tradition that continues today.
In 1989, Crosby Monuments was purchased by Thomas J. Blute, a lifelong Harwich resident.
Today, H.T.Crosby & Son takes great pride in having served thousands of families throughout Cape Cod and New England. Although the tools and technology have modernized the industry, our dedication to the craft remains our top priority.
Our ability to satisfy all needs and desires has survived the passage of time. We now have available granites from all over the world. We also work with Bronze for plaques, Slate for tablets and Marble for markers and statuary.
